Marco Pilichi: Success Comes from Teamwork

In his role as Marco Pilichi, Central After-Sales Manager, coordinating people and bringing out their potential is part of his daily work. This year, however, he had the opportunity to do so outside the company as well, supporting the MEHITS basketball team competing in the Win:Win Tournament. The experience culminated in an extraordinary second-place finish and demonstrated, once again, how great results stem from collective effort.

The Win:Win Tournament is much more than a sports competition: it’s a project that brings together companies in the Bassano area, people, and the local community through the values of sports, collaboration, and solidarity. Every year, it involves hundreds of participants in an experience that focuses on human relationships and the contribution of each individual.

In this context, the MEHITS team has built a path of steady growth, going on to claim second place on the podium this year after just three years of participation. Marco attributes this achievement entirely to his teammates:

“Rather than a coach (for which I don’t think I have the right technical skills), I’d describe myself more as a motivator. This year we achieved a great result after just three years of participating in the tournament. Second place was made possible thanks to the commitment and dedication of my teammates, who have shown passion for the sport and for charity, as well as a strong focus on results that characterizes the entire MEHITS family. Thanks again to everyone—this result is a credit to the team!”

Marco’s words perfectly capture the true value of this experience. Behind every game was a group of teammates who chose to devote their time, energy, and enthusiasm to a common goal. Everyone contributed in their own way: some were on the field fighting for every ball, others made sure to attend every practice, and still others supported and encouraged the team during the toughest moments.

More than just the sum of its parts, the team became a community capable of sharing commitment, a spirit of sacrifice, and a desire to improve together. It was precisely this cohesion that allowed the group to grow year after year, ultimately reaching a milestone that represents a collective success even more than a sporting one.

The experience at the tournament demonstrated how the values that guide our daily work at MEHITS—collaboration, mutual trust, and a focus on results—can make a difference even outside the professional context. Second place is certainly an achievement to be proud of, but what will linger longest is the shared journey and the sense of belonging built along the way.

For this reason, the credit goes to the entire team: a group of people who were able to transform a shared passion into an opportunity for connection, solidarity, and growth, proving that when you truly play as a team, the final score is only part of the victory. 🏀
