With the start of fiscal year 2026, Mitsubishi Electric has shared its new corporate philosophy. This is an important step, as it defines how the Group intends to look at the future and, above all, how each of us can contribute every day.
This is not just a formal update. It is a clear statement of who we are today, what we want to become, and the role we aim to play in supporting the development of society.
The new “Our Philosophy” has been created with this in mind: to provide a common reference for all people across the Group, in every country and function. In a constantly evolving environment, it becomes a practical guide to help shape decisions, priorities and new initiatives. And, how? Looking more closely, the philosophy is built on three key elements.
- The Purpose defines our role in society: to create new possibilities for a better tomorrow through vision and innovation. It means going beyond the current state and actively contributing to society’s progress by leveraging our expertise and technology.
- The Guiding Principle, “Changes for the Better”, represents the principle that guides our choices. Each person is expected to contribute to change, with the understanding that improvement is never a final destination, but an ongoing journey.
- The Core Values show how to turn this into concrete actions. Be Bold encourages us to challenge the status quo and try new ideas. Co create highlights the importance of collaboration and open dialogue. With Integrity reminds us to act with responsibility and consistency in everything we do.
For us, this step further strengthens our alignment with the Group and provides a clear direction to face the complex challenges of the applied market.
