What is the main purpose of your work?
The purpose of my work is to monitor the company’s compliance with environmental regulations and plan sustainability strategies. The main focus is the reduction of CO2 “decarbonization”, so I also deal with energy consumption verification.

Which of your activities do you like to do the most? And the least?
The activity I like to do the most is energy consumption monitoring, the activity that I like the least is using SAP to issue orders.

What does a typical working day look like?
My typical day is characterized by the daily monitoring of all energy indicators in MEHITS and, when I detect any anomalies, to collaborate with the Plants for a solution. I take stock of the various sustainability projects and the necessary authorization procedures. I collaborate in the planning of technical training courses (e.g., forklift drivers, cranes, etc.).

What is the biggest work challenge you’ve faced so far?
The most demanding work challenge both economically and structurally that I am facing is the construction of the new M12 air conditioning system, together with the Facilities colleagues, the that will allow us to be independent from methane gas, to be more sustainable and be cooler also in summer at the Alpago site.
