These are key areas for MEHITS, not only for employees in Italy but also, and above all, for those working in our various international locations. Pooling our experiences, approaches, and priorities was an important step toward building a more aligned and informed vision.

The group work resulted in two Manifestos—one for HR and one for HSE—which outline the objectives of each function, the guiding values for future behavior, and a concrete commitment with an action plan. A solid foundation for all future HR and HSE initiatives.

Alongside the classroom sessions, there were also more informal gatherings and team-building activities. These were valuable opportunities to get to know one another better, strengthen relationships, and foster a climate of trust and collaboration that extends beyond individual local contexts.

This first meeting thus represents a starting point: a space for dialogue among colleagues who, while operating in different companies, cultures, and geographies, belong to the same Group and share common goals. A concrete opportunity to grow together and make the way MEHITS addresses central issues such as people, safety, and sustainability increasingly consistent and robust.
