Wednesday, June 26, was a day full of excitement and discovery at Villa San Biagio, where we welcomed 40 new MEHITS colleagues. The initiative, “Welcome On Board,” which is resuming this year after a 6-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, aims to familiarize people with the organization, MEHITS values, and to foster relationships among colleagues, enhancing synergies between establishments.

The morning was dedicated to the Executive Board’s presentation of the Departments that shape our reality, telling what are their main objectives, roles and activities. It was a valuable moment to better understand the complexity and key role of each area.

In the afternoon, colleagues gathered outdoors in the villa garden for group activities. Guided by the rules of the game, they collaborated to achieve a common goal. It was fascinating to observe how people, initially unknown, broke down barriers and built different and unique bridges of communication.

Special thanks go to all the colleagues who participated in this initiative. Thank you for putting yourselves out there and creating new connections and opportunities for all of us to grow.
