This month we are pleased to publish some photos we received from our colleagues Enrico Maineri and Giorgia Rossi, from the M11 Sales office. Giorgia and Enrico participated in a workshop with designers and colleagues, organised by our Algerian distributor Proclim, in a hotel in the capital.

The purpose of the meeting was to present our new products and introduce them to professionals in the area, in order to seize the potential of this fast-growing country and increase our presence on the continent. In fact, Giorgia told us that investments in the area are growing strongly and there are many new infrastructures under construction with both government and Chinese funding. We already experienced a similar situation in neighbouring Morocco a few years ago, when we acquired some large projects, including the Grand Théâtre de Rabat, a futuristic building designed by architect Zaha Hadid for the capital. More recently, however, we supplied the units and the supervision and control system for one of the tallest buildings in Africa: the Mohammed VI Tower, also in Rabat.

Who knows, then, that thanks to the meeting that just took place in Algeria and Proclim’s promotional push, in a few months we will be able to talk about some new and prestigious project in this country too!
