Making the Difference: Our New Campaign

As you already know during each school year we organize many meetings with students from schools of all kinds and grades. The goal is to make ourselves known and recognized, especially by young people who are attending universities today and who may become our colleagues tomorrow. But how? The universities organize company presentation days, to which they invite all young people, a kind of modern job fair in which they introduce young people to the main companies in the territory and vice versa. So we have a desk a few seats and a couple of hours to attract the attention of young people and stand out from the “competition” — how to do it? To take a stab at it, we came up with the MAKING THE DIFFERENCE campaign, where already the title is a statement of intent! The basic idea is to explain in a few words in what WE as MEHITS can make a difference compared to other companies and how a candidate or new graduate can make a difference if and when they come to us. Because in work, as in love and friendship it is always about finding the right balance between give and take! 😉. In addition to the slogan, we prepared supporting communication materials, and giveaways that were simple but in line with the campaign message. The result?

Recent meetings we attended displaying the new campaign proved good interest from students who seemed curious about the message and positively impressed by the consistency between communication media and promotional material.

The first of these meetings was “Career 360°: from student to professional” held on September 20 at the Fair in Longarone, where about 30 companies from the area and students from high schools in the Belluno area were present. Next, we also participated in the Career Day in Vicenza held on October 15 and dedicated to all students of Master’s Degrees in Management Engineering, Mechatronics and Product Innovation. Finally, we closed the year with the Career Day organized by the University of Padua last November 7 at Padova Fiere, where we collected more than 50 resumes! The best thing about this experience was that we met young people with a great desire to get involved, and we hope we also created interest and curiosity in them, prompting them to think about how to stand out in the world of work.

The students have proven a real appreciation for the MAKING THE DIFFERENCE campaign, so we decided to use it on social as well. Have you guys seen it? Did you enjoy it?
