M11 Gets Pretty – New External Interventions

Those of you who work in M11 or have been there in the last few weeks will certainly have noticed that some minor work has been done to increase the Mitsubishi Electric family feeling: we have new logos on the exterior doors, on the turnstiles and in the switchboard, new chairs in the lobby, cleaner exterior walls. But we are only at the beginning. We have to admit that in the past we cared little about the outward appearance of our plants to focus more on their internal organization and optimization, but now, 10 years after the acquisition and with the planned growth plan, it became necessary to give “our outward appearance” a modernization as well. So here it is that during the summer shutdown, a new color will be applied to the exterior walls, the canopies will be unified and made more modern and attractive, and then the installation of a large exterior logo and the remaining signs (signage for drivers, for privacy, etc…) with new graphics aligned with the other plants. Oh yeah… because we are slowly intervening a bit in all the plants, with new graphics and panels aligned with each other and with the Mitsubishi Electric style.

Returning to M11, after this first tranche of interventions, another tranche will follow, which will concern the entrance to production, which will be given more importance, and the creation of a new outdoor area for break times, with even a corner dedicated to smokers, and finally the construction of new bathrooms for employees and production.

Many will want to have their say in a very Italian way (“We are a people of coaches” CIT), some will complain that it is not enough or that priorities are other, but hopefully most will appreciate and be even more proud to be part of a healthy, beautiful reality with great growth potential like MEHITS.
