The more observant among you will have seen that in recent months we have posted on LinkedIn numerous activities carried out with students. Indeed, the 2023/2024 school year, which is now almost over, has seen us playing a leading role in schools in the area. In fact, we personally went to numerous technical institutes in Bassano, Treviso, Belluno and Pavia to explain to the students who we are, what we do and what they could do in MEHITS in the future, hoping to arouse their interest and curiosity for a safe and challenging job. We then welcomed them to our sites, showing them our production lines and all the activities we develop in the areas of safety, environment and continuous improvement. With some students from the Istituto Scotton in Bassano del Grappa, we carried out a dedicated program that will allow them, as soon as they finish school, to become part of our reality, should they wish to do so.

But we have not limited ourselves to high schools; on the contrary, we have participated again this year in numerous open days at the Universities of Padua and Ferrara… because our pool of candidates potentially extends not only to the Veneto but to all of Italy!

Some of our colleagues have also been speakers at prestigious Master’s programs at CUOA in Vicenza or Ca’ Foscari in Venice.

Why do we do all this? Obviously to make ourselves known and prepare the way for future selections of new candidates, but also and above all because we believe in young people, in their potential, in their desire to contribute to change, which is then also our Group motto!
