Dear MEHITS Colleagues,
As announced by HR, I should sadly leave MEHITS to take a new roll in Tokyo HQ from 1st April.
I wanted to meet all of you in person, but due to very rushing schedule, I apologize I should say “Thank you very much and Goodbye” via written communication.
As I’m expressing and explaining at various occasions, the experiences to manage MEHITS Group and to work with all of you are one of the most memorable and excited things in my 35 years of Mitsubishi Electric working time.
If you have been in MEHITS more than 4 years, you could easily find a lot of changes, improvements, and revolutions which we jointly made. All of us know how much time we spent to implement those and how much effort we made to achieve them. And now a lot of customers and visitors mention very positive words for us!!
Yes, we still have a lot of rooms to improve, but what we jointly achieved are incredibly impressive and it proved that MEHITS can make them happen! So I would like to express to all of you, my highest appreciation to make them happen, to support me, and to keep encouraging me with great positivity all the time!!!
I’m sincerely proud of you from the bottom of my heart, you are great co-workers, and great people to spend time together!!!
From April, I will be “Group President of Living & Digital Media Business Unit” of Mitsubishi Electric. I will have a lot of new challenges, but good thing is I’m still in-line with MEHITS Group and Applied business.
MEHITS Group and Applied Business becomes one of a core business of Mitsubishi Electric, and getting a lot of interest from all other divisions. “You” are the member of such a great team and promising business, so I’m confident you will continuously improve various things and creating a really strong business!!!
As you know, my successor is Tsuruta-san. And very capable management team is not changed, so please support Tsuruta-san and the management team, and please show me “up-graded MEHITS Group” once I re-visit here sometime!
I will miss the very good atmosphere of MEHITS, nice mountains, beautiful scenery of Italy, lovely Italian food and, all of you!
