We interviewed Cristiano Fiorese, Controllers Industrialization Supervisor – M11, who has been with MEHITS for 30 years.

- If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself on your first day at work?
I remember my first day at work at what was then Climaveneta. I was welcomed by my colleagues, who immediately made me feel part of the family and were always very helpful in responding to my requests as the “new kid on the block.” I don’t have any particular advice I would give myself looking back over the years because the leap from my previous job to becoming an electrician was significant, so I tried to pay close attention to instructions and advice.
- What has been the most surprising technological change you have experienced in the company?
The use of magnetic levitation centrifugal compressors. In 2003, this was truly astonishing technology, a mix of highly futuristic systems condensed into a compact device. We were pioneers and actively contributed to the development of the product and our applications. This was undoubtedly one of the toughest challenges we have ever faced, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
- What is the most surprising thing you have learned about your colleagues over the years?
Hidden talents and passions, which often have nothing to do with their job role, but which are cultivated with passion and reveal unexpected skills.
