For the past few years, the MEHITS CEO Awards have been introduced as awards given by the MEHITS Chief Executive Officer to recognize innovation, continuous improvement, and resilience in any area of business.
As is well known, the awards are officially presented during the traditional XMAS Party to groups deemed particularly deserving. The award can subsequently be disbursed at the group’s choice in the following forms:
- dividing the prize into equal shares according to the number of group members;
- group welfare activities (company dinner or team building activities);
- liberal disbursement for solidarity purposes.
Remember the group that won last December for improving inventory and stock rotation (ITR Improvements)? It was a group of 33 colleagues who helped apply a just-in-time perspective to warehouse management, reducing stock by more than 12% and increasing the performance indicator by as much as 36%.
The result was certainly exceptional, but equally commendable is the decision to donate the prize in support of ABAM Onlus, a Vicenza-based association that is committed to assisting underprivileged families of children with congenital malformations, providing essential equipment for treatment, and supporting medical staff. The commitments that ABAM has made and continues to make in support of Vicenza Hospital’s departments of Pediatrics and Neonatal Pathology, Pediatric Surgery, and Anesthesia and Resuscitation have only been possible thanks to donations from supporters, including our Company! 🚀
