Summer is coming to an end and the summer shutdown is also over for almost everyone. But don’t get too depressed! You can tell us about your holiday in the comments or mark in your diary the next big event that MEHITS wanted to organise for the whole city of Bassano.
As part of its sponsorship of the Piano Festival B. Cristofori, within the CristOFF out-of-programme, we wanted to include a date in Bassano with a great international guest: the pianist Chisato Taniguchi, the same who will play at the Venice Biennale the day before.
Born in Japan, she revealed her passion for music at the age of 2. After her excellent studies in Tokyo, she was able to enrich her training at the Paris Conservatory of Music and Dance. For years, he has been performing in concert, sharing his passion for contemporary repertoire, in particular the works of Japanese composer Atsuhiko Gondai, with works from the classical repertoire.
In Bassano we will have the pleasure of hearing her on Friday 4th October at 20:45 in the church of San Bonaventura (in via dell’Ospedale) with a concert entitled Nocturnal Chants. Here is the programme:

MEHITS will therefore offer the concert not only to its employees who wish to attend, but to the entire city of Bassano, which is home to our venue.
