- If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself on your first day of work?
“Run!” 😊
No, just kidding, I would have said to myself, Breathe, you already know this but it is always useful to remember: no one masters everything from day one! Observe with curiosity the new environment and its dynamics, absorb, adapt and find your space. Don’t rush to prove everything right away: there will be time for your skills to emerge. Remember that people matter as much as skills, so cultivate relationships and try to be flexible.”
- What is the most surprising thing you have learned about colleagues over the years?
I realized that even those who seem to have everything under control are actually improvising at least a little bit, and I also realized that the best collaborations come not only from skills but also from the ability to laugh together at the right times. A good team knows how to alternate between seriousness and levity by finding the right balance.
- You have survived a decade in here, what is your secret?
A good dose of diplomacy! And lots and lots of patience accompanied by curiosity.
