Dear MEHITS Colleagues
I am pleased to introduce myself, Wataru Tsuruta, appointed as the new CEO and Corporate GM of MEHITS, succeeding Ando-san.
At first, I would like to express sincere appreciation to Ando-san for his strong leadership and achievment.
Since I arrived at MEHITS 1.5 years ago, I have been watching diligence, high professional capability, passion for continuous improvement etc. in MEHITS and Group companies. I can say we are one of the most changing for the better group in MELCO.
At this opportunity, please let me comment 6 points as below.
• As everybody may be feeling from daily activities, MEHITS-Group business is positively growing. In FY24, as Group we could secure double digit sales growth in 3 consecutive years with healthy profit. We also had memorial milestones e.g. Welcoming MAF in France into our Group, CVI factory extension, CCU-VN/MY establishment etc. Thank you very much for everybody’s hard work.
• Following mega trends like booming data center demand, market transition due to F-Gas regulation, and decarbonization, the applied market will continue to expand in the mid-term. By correctly capturing growing segments, let us prepare for further growth in accordance with our mid-term business plan.
• Not only in HVAC division but also in entire MELCO, our applied business is positioned as strategic core business with high expectation. And MEHITS-Group is center of MELCO’s applied business. Let us work as professional with this pride and commitment.
• As our business grows, our customers are all over the world including very big names at critical application sites and we are regarded as premium brand. Remembering that let us challenge one step better quality in everybody’s daily job throughout all organization. It must make big difference in the end. Also we will work together with external sales/service partners in the field for the “next level quality” for end customers.
• In order to keep us competitive and grow satisfying increasing needs from global customers, collaboration and teamwork in each company and among entire Group is essential. MEHITS-Group is not a group of indipendent companies but more one single and larger company with a common and shared vision. Let us make many more things possible with creating cynergies among Group.
• In the end, as well as quality, safety, compliance and health of all employees and family is the prioirity. Let us always remember this basics.
