Graduates Event 2024 – 2nd Edition in Alpago

After the first edition held in Paris, Mitsubishi Electric Europe chose Italy as the venue for the second edition of the event dedicated to young graduates, entitled “Graduates Event 2024”.

Held on November 4 and 5, 2024 at our headquarters in Alpago, it brought together all recent graduates from the various Mitsubishi subsidiaries hired in the last year, with the aim of deepening with them elements of the Group’s corporate culture, sharing its values and reasoning about future projects that will involve them.

The two days represented a unique opportunity for participants to better understand how the enhancement of their skills can translate into professional development opportunities within our reality and how they can make them key players in Mitsubishi during the coming years.

The first day opened with some speeches and interventions from our side:

  • Ando Masafumi, our CEO, presented our company, the strategy that MEHITS is trying to implement internationally for current and future growth;
  • Marco Vialetto, our Sales & Marketing Director, explained our sales policy and vision in terms of strategic and operational marketing and our market positioning in different business segments;
  • finally, Andrea Marchioro, our HR Director/CPO, shared some aspects of our organization, insights and coaching regarding what helps young figures grow within a complex reality.

The days then followed with group exercises and simulations to explore other topics such as, for example, leadership of the future, employee engagement, performance and motivation especially with the focus on the younger generation: all topics that fit well with what Mitsubishi and MEHITS have been trying to put in place in recent years along with those of sustainability and respect for diversity and inclusion.

A Factory Tour was organized in M12 and at the Core Technology Center, allowing participants to visit the production facilities, laboratories and research center and see for themselves how work is planned and organized at a systematic level within our organization.

A symbolic moment to remember this opportunity to meet and learn: we hope it symbolically represents a bond between the company and new talent that we hope will be prosperous in view of a future full of opportunities for all.
