As already anticipated last month, on Sunday 29 September, on the occasion of World Cleanup Sea & Rivers Day 2024, a corporate environmental clean-up day will take place, organised in cooperation between Mitsubishi Electric and Plastic Free ODV Onlus.

For those who don’t know it, Plastic Free is a non-partisan, apolitical, independent and non-profit voluntary organisation, committed to concrete projects and battles to protect the planet from plastic pollution, which has already collected more than 3,950 tonnes of plastic, together with its 250,000 volunteers and through 6,600 clean-up events. Together with them, we too can act responsibly, giving new life to areas submerged by waste, and carrying out an important environmental care and clean-up activity on our territory!

Here are the details of the day:

WHEN: Sunday 29 September, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHERE: industrial zone of Cittadella (PD); meeting point in Corso Noblesville 1

WHO IS INVITED: all Mitsubishi Electric employees who love the environment and the area where they live

WHAT I BRING: passion, respect for the environment, but also family and friends (the more the merrier!)

HOW TO REGISTER: directly from the Plastic Free website. Register for free and register yourself and your companions for the event. Registration is compulsory for each participant.

WHAT I WILL BE SUPPLIED: gloves and tools to facilitate waste collection. If you participate you are also entitled to receive a Mitsubishi Electric hat, which will be given to you directly on 29 September at the meeting place and which you will need for the final group photo 😉 Book your hat and gloves by sending an email to mehits.life@melcohit.com, after you have registered!
