As press released, we, together with Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V., acquired Aircalo who is leading FCU/AHU manufacture in France. From today, we officially start merger process.
New company name will be “MEHITS AIRCALO FRANCE S.A.S” (Internally “MAF” in abbreviation).
Aircalo was established in Bordeaux in 1962 and successfully grown up to one of the market leaders in France. They have now approximately 100 employees including 6 R&D engineers and 14 salesmen who have direct contact with important applied customers all over France.
Aircalo produce FCUs pre-fabricating components (controller, valve etc.) sent from each installer in their factory. This high customization capability making installer’s life at site easy is their unique business model appreciated by the market. Also their own metal processing technology is important asset.
Local production with local specification, compliant with local regulation is the key for AHU business’ competitiveness. Also FCU will be more and more important when DX market moved to hydro by F-Gas. So welcoming Aircalo in MEHITS family brings us important value to enhance our regional coverage and capabilities in France.
Aircalo is manufacturing FCUs & AHUs meeting local customer requirement and regulation with different concept from MEHITS. How do we cover whole European market better together with Aircalo in future will be considered as a part of our global air side business strategy.
