Message from M. Vialetto: Budgets and Relaunches

With the arrival of spring, we are approaching the end of the fiscal year 2023 and preparing for a new beginning of the year, now admiring the blossoming of many blossoms on the trees around us! It is certainly a time for balance sheets and relaunches, as we are now synchronized with the rhythm of the year marked by Mitsubishi Electric.  

Regarding “Budgets,” this past 2023 has seen our market still growing strongly (>15%) at the European level and beyond, with MEHITS able to run a bit faster than the competition gaining market share overall. Mitsubishi Electric’s sales companies have certainly driven the growth through increasing confidence that MEHITS products can be a solid and promising contributor to their growth in the markets in the coming years. The work we have been doing for the past few years aimed at building greater trust between commercial and factory entities is bearing fruit. The offering of solutions based on heat pumps, multipurpose units (to meet the needs of heating electrification and decarbonization), complemented by the ever-improving ability to offer complete solutions for even large Datacenters (IT Cooling) have driven the growth. Independent distributors contributed from various parts of the world to consolidate the position and complement the good result, although in the midst of very worrying socio-political tensions. Again this year we have achieved the expected forecasts as a whole, and this is certainly in the direction of reliability that contributes to confidence at all levels starting with those of Customers. 

Coming to “Relaunches” for the next and coming years, there are very positive expectations about the development of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry worldwide, and MEHITS wants to continue investing to establish itself as a leader in the growth of the industry.  

To achieve this without a doubt, we need even greater harmony and synchrony with our sales channels and market and segment development so that we are able to realize the great ferment within MEHITS. The development of a truly Customer-oriented mindset will enable us to give the right priorities to product development and to affirm ourselves as market leaders. To get it we have to finalize investments that effectively impact the level of service and quality we want to achieve to meet the expectations of Customers before our internal targets, and to provide Tools and Services that complement our product offerings, to characterize and differentiate the way we create value through new products and the continuous improvement of our processes. 

Here then, the various challenges that each department faces every day find a connection to the 3 key aspects mentioned above that I believe can well represent the boosts we need. Increasingly, being able to work TOGETHER to achieve a goal by bringing different and complementary skills and capabilities to bear, I believe may be the extra boost we need to be better than the competitors, it is together that we can make a difference and in teamwork that individualities are amplified, if we think about it, although at first it may seem counter-intuitive, it is true! So this is our wish for the coming months, that the gems that are blossoming will turn into abundant fruit for all!
