Saturday, July 22nd some colleagues participated in the fifteenth edition of the summer tournament in memory of Manola Scotton, a young woman born in San Nazario and who died prematurely after falling ill with breast cancer. 

Every year Progetto Manola Onlus organizes and promotes, among other activities, a charity tournament in which hundreds of young people compete under the scorching sun of July in mixed soccer and volleyball tournaments, with the aim of raising funds for cancer research and donating them to concrete projects to help local hospitals of Bassano and the surrounding area. 

In addition to fundraising, the association is engaged in information activities on cancer prevention and research at a local level, transport assistance, moral and economic support, scholarship financing and any other activity aimed at supporting and helping sick people and their families. 

To date, with the funds raised from the various activities, including the tournament in which we participated (we did not win, but we had a lot of fun!! 😉) it was possible to buy and donate various equipment that meet concrete needs, thanks to the collaboration with doctors and staff of health facilities and oncological associations in our area.
