What is the main purpose of your work?
I have the task of improving and supporting the industrialization of the production process by providing continuous support to all functions, applying the logic of lean manufacturing also through the realization of kaizen events. It is important to monitor KPIs, propose the purchase of new equipment in compliance with time and costs, define unit cycle times and support new product development projects and layout reorganization.
Which of your activities do you like to do the most? And the least?
I like to improve the production process by helping operators, doing analysis, and evaluating the purchase of new equipment. The thing I like least is waste time.
What does a typical working day look like?
My typical workday starts at 8:30 and first I open emails, then based on the day I monitor the anomalies reported on the lines, carry out analysis for different projects, production workflow management, PDCA management, production order management and creation of operating instructions.
The most demanding challenge was the industrialization of the x-MEXT and the reopening of M23 with two production lines.
