We went back to school. Did they fail us? NO! We did it to meet young students in the area, to introduce ourselves to them, so they who we are and what we do. First, we went to the Turazza Professional Institute in Treviso, and we tried to braze welding with them. They liked understanding how they can turn their knowledge into a real job, we liked seeing the enthusiasm in their eyes and their desire to learn. A few weeks later we hosted the students of the ITIS Enrico Fermi of Bassano del Grappa i n M11 and we showed them our production lines. Also, in this case the young people were amazed and interested, they asked questions and became almost passionate about the world of air conditioning that few knew about before the visit. So, let’s move away from clichés: it is not true that today’s young people are all slackers! 😉 In fact, we hope that some of them will want to come and work with us after graduating school.
In the coming months, as we have been doing for years, we will also meet the students at the Universities of Padua and Udine in what are commonly called Open Days. These are days dedicated to the meeting between undergraduates and companies, which aim to bridge the gap between young people and the world of work. The main companies present themselves, offering open positions and more generally the most sought-after functions and / or soft skills that can make a difference in the company. Don’t you know what they are? If not, you’ve failed! 😉
