MEHITS is Growing: a New Plant in the U.S.

The project will be carried out at the Mitsubishi Electric US plant in Mason, Ohio, where new production capacity dedicated to data center cooling solutions will be established. The goal is to be even closer to North American customers and to support a constantly evolving market more quickly and effectively.

MEHITS will contribute the experience and know-how it has developed over years of operating in the sector. The new production facility will further enhance the company’s ability to respond to market demands and keep pace with the growth of digital infrastructure that is transforming the way we work and communicate.

The investment, totaling approximately $30 million, will also have a positive impact on the local community, creating new jobs and fostering the development of specialized skills. By 2030, the project is expected to generate up to 180 new job opportunities, contributing to local economic growth and further strengthening the Group’s presence in the United States.

For MEHITS, this initiative represents a significant milestone, but above all, a new step in a journey of international growth that continues to bring our expertise ever closer to strategic markets. This investment confirms our commitment to looking toward the future, supporting innovation, and fostering the development of an increasingly digital world.
