When someone joins a company, the first few months really make a difference. This is when the foundations are built—not only for the role, but also for feeling part of something bigger.
In recent years, across our production sites, we have seen how effective the Dojo Room model is in transferring both skills and company culture. The term “dojo” (道場), in fact, does not simply refer to a training space: in Japanese culture, it literally means “a place where the way is practiced,” a space dedicated to learning, growth, and to developing a balance between skills, mindset, and values.
It is precisely this deeper meaning that inspired us to extend the approach to our white-collar population.

This is how Dojo White Collars was created—a training program designed for MEHITS’ new hires, with the goal of supporting them from their very first months in the company. The starting point is clear: onboarding experiences can vary across teams and departments, and this diversity represents an opportunity to build a more structured and shared journey.
With this initiative, we want to offer something more than role-specific training. The aim is to give new colleagues a broader, cross-functional understanding of the organization, along with exposure to the key tools and, most importantly, the principles that guide the way we work at MEHITS.
The first edition, held on April 21–22, 2026, at the M11 site in Bassano del Grappa, involved all white-collar employees who joined the company from the beginning of the year. Over these two days, participants had the chance not only to learn, but also to connect, exchange ideas, and start building relationships from the very beginning.
The positive results already achieved in production environments made it a natural step to extend this approach to white-collar employees as well, creating a path that truly supports the onboarding experience. The objective is to strengthen awareness, integration, and a sense of belonging from day one, helping each person understand the MEHITS context and recognize themselves within a shared vision. Because joining MEHITS does not simply mean starting a new job—it means embarking on a journey of growth built on connections, collaboration, and a common identity.
